LO4 User testing

a)
I have tested the navigation by requesting people to move between pages and test every single link to another page.

b)
I have tested the hyperlinks by having the users test every single hyperlink and make sure that they reach the expected outcome.

c)
I have tested the page load times by asking the users to test the load times of the pages. although this may be affected by the internet connection.

d)
I have tested the performance of the website with different browsers by opening it up and texting the links and the layout in browsers such as firefox and google chrome.

e)
I have tested this by asking the users whether they think the house style fits in and stays consistent.

LO5 Website Feedback/Improvement

The people who reviewed my website said that the website works perfect and is in no way flawed but I disagree with them and think that the content of the website needs improving and changing to be more informative and styled to fit in with the rest of the website.

I think the strengths of my website are the navigation bar and the graphics I made for the website.

The weaknesses of my website is the info given as I don't think its quite informative enough.


I think I could improve the website by making it more interactive and functional. I think it could use more features and have more features in general such as flip over images that will give the website more character and in general make it look better. other features I could include are things such as; step by step instructions on how to help the bees in your area and event information for events that would be held to raise money and awareness. Navigation wise I tried keeping it simple so its easy to navigate and so anyone would be able to use it. I am happy with the design of the website as it clearly portrays what the theme of the website is.

LO2 My Website Features

Animated cursor 

This is one of my features when you open the website your cursor will change in to a bee. 

Here is an example from a website where your cursor changes to a hotdog.

This isn't a cursor but this is a feature that makes the bee follow your cursor around the screen with more realistic movement.

I want graphs that will move with our goals and achievements e.g. a graph that will change with the about donated tho us and when it will fill completely then we hit our main goal amount.

LO2 Launch date and budget

Th launch date for Flux Fest will be the 4th-7th of August as i believe this will let us make the most of the weather and the daytime.
The event will be held at Endcliffe park as it is a well known spot for freerunners and it will give us plenty of space for other equipment.
Were hoping to get sponsorships from Red Bull, GoPro, Sheffield Parkour Community and The Motus Project.
We will make money from the local businesses that will want to attend the event and sell their products. We will also sell flux apparel and make money from that.
